ok first i would like 2 say thank you to everyone that sent a birthday greeting to me, in whatever form it came in (tracy in the forums and on icq, jan, erik, heather, and abe on icq and kelly on her blog) you really don't know what it means to me to have people remember my bday -thumps chest yall my niggaz...

since gary gave the particulars of what we did that day, i'll avoid it here now, and just say that, yes honey, i had a wonderful day...just the fact that when i mentioned mall of america you said yes without the slightest hesitation made it 'my day' i love you so much and you are THE BEST birthday present i could ever get....birthday, christmas, easter....whatever....just the best

and yes, i WOULD like that present you were talking about, and no matter what i say, no im not in a hurry to get it....i want that to be something you are comfortable getting and not something you were pressured into.....just be honest. it's like....forever.

so yeah, his mom and sister forgot my birthday...it's not like i expect anything from them, they AREN'T family no matter what the situation....but the protestations they make to both gary and me is that they DO consider me family....and a couple weeks ago they were all 'what do you want' etc etc....and i know money is tight for them both so i don't expect some big huge production with fireworks and daddy warbucks in a tux singing 'i don't need anything but you'....but if i'm such a big part of their family...would a phone call have been too much to expect? and the thing about it that makes it such a slap in the face is that his mom is always on his case about how he treats his family....and its not like it's just any old birthday....it's the 30TH birthday....for just the significance of it, i might as well be turning 100
so yeah, it is still bothering me

and it will probably keep on bothering me.
