You may be wondering why there is a link to the page...well...on the page

That's because this site is now featured on Blog Explosion which allows you to do a sort of "speed dating" version of blog surfing. You have 20 to 30 seconds to view a page and then you move on to the next one. The more pages you visit, the more credits you get. The more credits you get, the more stuff you can do (including assigning one credit for every visitor that you would like them to send to your page).

I've noticed though in my own surfing that several of the sites I wanted to come back to and read later and I couldn't do that unless I added it to a section in my account called "Blogmark" which basically means you have to rely on blog explosion to go back and view pages later. I found myself wanting to just be able to click on something and open the page myself, then be able to come back to it later.

So, I asked my hubby to make a link in the header that would open the site in a new window. Then you can just minimize the new window and come back to it later after you've earned your credits or whatever. So that's why.
